Trip to Sabang

Who says for get a beautiful beach we have to go to Hawai? Or Phuket Thailand? Indonesia has a lot of beautiful places, which one is Sabang.  Sabang is located in westernmost city in Indonesia, although its a small island but has a superb nature.

If you want to get here, you can go by airplane or ship. If you want go by airplane, you can go from Banda Aceh-Sabang or Medan-Sabang. While if you want by ship,you can go by ferry or motor express. If you go by ferry it take 2 hours while if by motor express it just take 45 minutes but you cant bring your vehicle. You must be careful, becuz the road is winding but dont worry the road is flawless like a baby face.

Sabang offer you a beautiful beach that will spoil your eyes. Its not just the beach, but there are Jaboi volcano mountain, Aneuk Laot lake, Pria Laot waterfall and Goa Sarang.

Sumur Tiga Beach

The beachs is very clean and clear, the wave is so calm and the water is blue even we can see the coral under the sea. We can do a lot of activity here, like enjoying a beautiful view while drink a coconut, take a bath in the beach, snorkeling and diving. Usually tourist come to Sabang, and do snorkeling in Iboih beach or Rubiah Island because it was the main spot to do that. To get to Rubiah Island we have to rent a boat, we can rent fisherman boat or glass bottom boat. If we rent glass bottom boat, we can enjoy the beauty under the sea, we can see a lot of fish, a lot of coral and there are unique coral because the coral is from a car and motorcycle. The sailor is so kind, they will give us an information about Sabang so increase our knowledge.

Snorkeling

If we snorkeling in Rubiah Island, we can see a school of fish, like nemo, lion fish, kepe-kepe, angel fish, starfish. The people who sell food, will recommend to buy a noodle, and when we throw the noodle into the sea, the fish will closer and surrounding to us. So amazing!

Gapang Beach

If we want more interisting activity we can do diving. Iboih and Gapang beach provide the diving equipment so we can rent it. And dont worry, there are guide too, so it will fun and safety too!

A new evolved activity is yacht that will increase tourism to come to Sabang.
